Cath Kidston has made vintage-inspired floral prints her signature style, and whatever they adorn, from stationery to radios, we love her iconic designs at Cotswold Trading. Started in 1993 with a small shop in London's Holland Park, Cath Kidston's brand has rapidly spread across the globe, with shops from England to Japan. Her range includes products across gifts and homeware, including collaborations with other well-known British brands. The fresh, workable style exuded by her designs has ensured their wide appeal to people of all ages. Taking inspiration from the past, Kidston sought to move away from the modern minimalist look to something lighter, bolder and more fun. She uses not only tradition images like flowers but quirkier things like cars, cowboys and cherries to create a style that can't be imitated. Her patterns now symbolise for many the kitsch colourfulness of English fashion.
All of the Bridgewater pottery is made from cream-coloured earthenware at the factory in Stoke on Trent. Most of the production work is still done by hand, and all the pieces are individually hand-decorated, so every one is very slightly different – and the spongeware is always signed by the person who painted it.
Choose from a range to suit your style and colour preference - whether that's the colourful Polka Dot, the pretty Pink Hearts and Wallflower collections, the quintessential country Blue & Hen Border or the striking Black Toast, there's something to suit everyone. New for 2016 is the Hen & Toast range, ideal for that cosy country kitchen look.

Grand Illusions is a design-led gift company set up by Nick Ronald and David Roberts in the late 1980s. Initially they had just one small store in St Margaret's, Twickenham, following which they developed a highly successful paint range. This then metaphormised into an acclaimed furniture collection. Their design advice was sought after and it naturally led onto Nick and David publishing three Grand Illusions books on decorating techniques and design inspiration. They also made guest appearances on BBC2's Home Front and various local BBC radio stations.
Today, Grand Illusions focuses almost exclusively on wholesale, with all products still either designed or selected by the duo and supplied to stockists across the UK and Ireland.
Launched in 2011, Magpie is a London-based studio who design and manufacture homewares and gifts – all with a distinctly British edge. Drawing on childhood memories of teatime with Granny, camping trips in the woods and seaside jaunts, Magpie’s range of products aim to raise a smile.
Just like their namesake, the magpie, the company are inveterate hoarders and love to have their collections displayed around them. Even their double magpie logo (paying homage to the childhood rhyme about magpies: two is for joy) acknowledges their passion. With good eco credentials too (their products are cruelty-free, e.g. ceramics are all porcelain rather than bone china, and suitable for vegans) they are a firm favourite at Cotswold Trading.
