Born in Derbyshire, Biddy Picard (1922 - 2019) trained at the Slade during the 2nd World War where her contemporaries included the Welsh artist Kyffin Williams. Subsequently she lived in North Wales for a short period before settling in West Cornwall in the late 1940s, having arrived by sea in a French crabber. Biddy was a longstanding member of the Newlyn Society and her paintings, which timelessly capture the essence of coastal Cornwall and influenced many other artists, are widely collected in both the UK and Europe.

We offer FREE standard delivery for all UK orders of £60 or over (*not including bulky items or alcohol).

There is a discount of £3 on Express Delivery costs for card-only orders. Orders placed at weekends or on bank holidays will be despatched the next working day.

Please note that due to customs restrictions, we are unable to deliver alcohol to Northern Ireland addresses.
