To care for your lantern and keep it looking fabulous, ensure the lantern is cold and wipe with a damp, soft cloth. Ensure nothing abrasive is used on the metal or glass surface of the lantern. Dry thoroughly after cleaning.

These lanterns are designed to be free standing and not to be hung. Please ensure that you only use the recommended candle specified for the lantern and only one candle at a time. These lanterns are designed for indoor and outdoor use. When using outdoors we recommend that lanterns are stored inside after use and not left outside for long periods of time.

  • Remove all packaging and follow instructions given with the lantern.
  • Always examine product before use, and do not use if item is damaged in any way.
  • Place the candle inside the lantern in an upright position only.
  • Never leave a burning candle in a lantern unattended and extinguish all candles when leaving a room.
  • Beware as the glass, top and handle may become hot when burning a candle.
  • Keep lanterns containing a burning candle out of the reach of children and pets.
  • Do not burn candles near flammable materials.
  • Protect the surface the lantern stands on as the base may become hot and do not stand on an uneven surface.
  • Do not carry a lantern by the handle or carry a lantern with a candle inside - lit or unlit.
  • Do not put anything else inside the lantern, other than a candle, when lit.
  • Never leave candles burning unattended, and never leave children alone with lighted candles.

  • We aim to despatch goods within 24 hours of receipt of order (except at weekends & bank holidays).
  • Our daily cut-off is 2pm for UK orders - orders placed after 2pm Monday to Friday will be despatched the following working day.
  • Orders placed after 2pm Friday will be despatched the following Monday (unless Saturday delivery has been selected).
  • Items marked with a FRAGILE ITEM sash can only be sent by Next Day Delivery to UK mainland addresses (excludes Highlands & Islands)

Returns and refunds

Christmas 2017: We are extending our refund policy so that any item bought online during November and December 2017 can be returned in its original condition up until 19th January 2018.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase then please return the item(s) within 28 days of purchase in perfect condition for a full product refund or a replacement. 

If you would like to cancel your order at any time prior to despatch please call us.

As the parcel and its contents are your responsibility until delivered, we recommend you send the goods to us by registered post. Please note: we do not refund postage charges on returned goods for items that are not damaged or faulty.

Items can be returned to our store in Broadway, however any refund payments will not be processed through our shop tills and instead handed to our internet warehouse team. Refunds will then be processed via your original payment method on our website (if you return an item to our store over the weekend, the refund will be processed the next working day).

Please note: We can't offer refunds or exchanges on perishable goods such as food, underwear or earrings, unless faulty or not as described. This does not affect your statutory rights.
