We offer FREE standard delivery for UK orders of £60 or over (not including bulky items or alcohol/bladed items).

Orders placed at weekends or on bank holidays will be despatched the next working day.

**Please note that due to customs restrictions, we are unable to deliver alcohol & bladed items to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Island addresses.

Information for all international customers:

• Due to increased postage charges we have had to slightly increase our international shipping charges.
• VAT will be removed from your order at the checkout.
• Please note for EU Orders: From 1 July 2026, all EU deliveries are subject to a flat €3 customs duty mandated by the EU. This fee is per HS Code, so if you are ordering multiple different products you will be charged per product - plus local postal handling fees, payable by the recipient upon delivery.
• For Europe & Rest of World customers: there may be local import sales tax and customs duties to be paid on receipt of your goods that Cotswold Trading is not liable for.
• For France: Orders are subject to the flat €3 EU customs duty plus an additional €2 French small parcel tax (TPC), bringing the total flat customs fee to €5 per item type - plus any other handling fees.
• For USA, Germany, Denmark and Luxembourg customers: all parcels are shipped on a DDP basis (Delivery Duties Paid) so there will be no additional taxes to pay once you have placed your order with us. Any additional costs are included within the postage charge at checkout.
• The following categories of products are not available to be purchased for international delivery: bulky or heavy items, breakable ceramic tableware, knives, alcohol, perfume, matches, crackers, mats & rugs, wall clocks, boots & slippers, Robert Welch bathroom items, all products from brands: Jellycat, Neal's Yard and Beija Flor.
• If the weight or packed dimensions of your order exceeds our courier's maximum weight or size limit, then Cotswold Trading reserves the right to contact you before despatch to request payment for additional shipping charges.

Orders are processed within 1-2 working days of them being placed.

Our standard UK deliveries are sent with Royal Mail Tracked 48 service, or with DPD 2 day service if too large.

For Express Delivery UK orders, the cut-off time for ordering on a weekday is 2pm.

The Age Verification Service is operated by Royal Mail for the sending of all orders of alcohol or bladed items. A signature and proof of age (18 or over) will be requested by the postie upon delivery.

Please note that if you order Express Delivery on a Friday before 2pm, it will be scheduled to be delivered on the following Monday. If you order Express after 2pm on a Friday or at a weekend, it will be despatched to you on the following Monday, to arrive either on the Tuesday or Wednesday. Bank Holidays are not counted as despatch days or delivery days.

Garden Trading Large Furniture Items Direct Despatch

Large items marked as 'Garden Trading Direct Despatch' can only be purchased singly and not combined with other items from our product range (which use different couriers).

Items purchased using 'Garden Trading Direct Despatch' will be delivered between 5-10 working days to your address, you will be contacted with delivery information following confirmation of the order.

Direct Despatch is not available for the following postcodes in the UK or Export Scottish Islands: HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56. KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3 Highlands Post Codes AB36-38, AB55-56, FK17-21, IV1-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-40, PH19-26, PH30-41, PH49-50 Channel Islands, Isle of Scilly, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland.

In the UK it is illegal for:

• any person under the age of 18 to buy (or attempt to buy) alcohol for themselves or for any other person under the age of 18; and
• an adult to buy (or attempt to buy) alcohol for any person under the age of 18

You may only purchase an alcoholic beverage from us if you are:

• at least 18 years old
• not buying that product for any person or persons under the age of 18

If a customer selects an item containing alcohol as part of their online purchase, then a box within the checkout process must be ticked to confirm they are 18 or over. In addition, any package containing an alcoholic product will be shipped on a signed-for service which must be accepted at the point of delivery by a person aged 18 or over. Proof of ID may be requested upon delivery of that product or at the point of collection in store where we operate a Challenge 25 Policy.

Cotswold Trading reserves the right not to sell or deliver any age-restricted product to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18.

Alcoholic beverages are able to be delivered to UK addresses only. These products are excluded from all promotions and discounts, both in store or online.
