Lagom Design was established in April 2007 with the aim of placing a renewed focus on quality in print and design, applying their philosophy to all the greetings cards, stationery and gift-wrap they create. Lagom is a Swedish word that describes the feeling when something has ‘perfect balance’ or is ‘just right’. This word perfectly embodies Lagom Design's ethos, their desire to capture the magical state of something that is ‘just right’. This may be difficult to attain, but when you do, something inside tells you it's Lagom.

Lagom's story began in a bijou, Parisian apartment in the 16th arrondissement close to the River Seine. It was the perfect spot and founder Kelly would often walk the few blocks to the Famous Palais de Tokyo and the Paris Museum of Modern Art taking inspiration from many of the artists she found inside. It was during this springtime in Paris that Kelly decided to create something really special, this something 'just right' would become Lagom.
