Djeco
In the vibrant heart of 1954 Paris, a visionary named Véronique Michel-Dalès embarked on a remarkable journey, founding "les jeux de Djeco" (Djeco Games). Inspired by the gecko, a small South-East Asian lizard believed to bring good fortune, she was a true trailblazer, boldly establishing her business at a time when few women, especially mothers, dared to venture into entrepreneurship. Djeco has remained a close knit family run business and the company was passed down from mother to son, and now includes a dedicated team. A strong family spirit prevails at their historic workshop in the heart of Paris, as well as in their logistics warehouse.
Driven by a passion for creation, Djeco is dedicated to manufacturing toys and games of superior quality. Their commitment to innovation results in the launch of almost 300 new products annually, translating to the creation of nearly one toy every day. Today, Djeco employs more than 70 people, with nearly half having been with the company for a decade or more.
