Gingko Design was established in 2011, by husband and wife team Natalie and Paul Sun, driven by their shared passion for art and design. The name "Gingko" is often a subject of inquiry. The gingko biloba tree, one of the world's oldest tree species, is admired for its beauty, particularly when its leaves turn golden in autumn. It has also been used for centuries in herbal remedies and teas. When they founded their company, Natalie and Paul aspired to design and craft products that mirrored these qualities: longevity, beauty, and practical utility.
