The Seaspray Oval Jute Rug from The Braided Rug Company is a high quality eco-rug made by hand in Bangladesh. Featuring a green/blue colour palette, this natural reed rug is water-resistant and made from Jute, one of the toughest natural fibres available, so durability is guaranteed.
Jute is a remarkable fibre. It is a sustainable yarn, and can be harvested up to three times a year. It is biodegradable, and compostable, needs no pesticides to grow and is totally organic. The fibres can withstand commercial use and will last a lifetime in the home. If jute is spun very finely it can mimic silk - so a jute rug is very soft underfoot.
The Seaspray colourway is a calming mix of green and blue tones.
Care: We recommend surface cleaning rather than machine washing. You can spot clean these jute rugs with soap and water and vacuum them. Soaking in a bath is not advised, as jute can take an eternity to dry when soaked. You can also dry clean. Advisable to keep out of strong sunlight or fading may occur. Turn over regularly for even wear.
NB. The large rug, due to its size, is classified as a 'bulky item' so can be ordered on a 48 hour UK delivery for £8.95.
We offer FREE standard delivery for all UK orders of £60 or over (*not including bulky items or alcohol).
There is a discount of £3 on Express Delivery costs for card-only orders.
